Easy and fun

Your students have many things they want to use their time on. Keeping track of information about courses is not one of them, but sharing information and socializing also outside the class room is typically.

Gather all information and communication in one app and utilize mobile features like notifications to remind your students of classes and homework.

Help your students to communicate easily without exchanging contact information in class first or using social media platforms, which not everyone wants.

Give time for exercises

Your students often use a lot of time on homework each week, but often in one sitting, as it requires preparation. This may include finding information about exercises and getting text books, logging into systems or finding a place to write down answers.

Make it possible for your students to do 5 minutes of homework when they have time. Allow them to listen or do small exercises in the breaks or waiting time they have in their day.

Several students mentioned that it is easier to find the time, when it can be pooled together from multiple smaller breaks. Some also indicate, having to schedule the longer time and do it in one sitting makes it feel like homework - in the bad sense.

Vary and span levels

Not all students are at the same level or can put in the same amount of effort - and their effort may vary over time. 

Make it possible for students to easily spend the time available by prioritizing content and make it possible to focus on the most important, but to get more, if time allows.

Smart repetition can mix previous content and ensure that the things the student has struggled with is rehearsed more without making it too hard. Optional content allows students to discover and explore additional content, when they have time and are ready for it.
